Understanding your skin: the difference between dry skin lacking nutrition and dehydrated skin lacking moisture.

hyratation and nutrition?

Basically, the difference between dry skin and dehydrated skin can be summarized as follows:

"Dry skin lacks lipids and dehydrated skin lacks water."

However, this shortcut is a bit reductive. Because all skin needs both water and lipids, because without water there is no hydration, but without lipids there is no hydration either! It is then better to consider that dry skin is a skin type, a permanent characteristic, such as complexion or hair type. Whereas dehydrated skin is a one-time condition linked to environmental factors or inadequate care. Thus, oily and dehydrated skin can be quite common.

This is why it is very important to choose skin care products adapted to your skin type AND its specific condition. Oily skin that is dehydrated from time to time and turns to too rich skin care products will shine, and risks developing imperfections and blackheads.

The key to beautiful skin is good make-up removal. Adopt triple make-up removal, the first 3 steps of layering, the ancestral beauty secret of Japanese women, for a more beautiful skin day after day, to discover here.

Excess localized sebum, dehydrated areas, combination skin requires specific care, which provides hydration without excess lipids, at the risk of seeing imperfections develop. The use of natural skin care products is particularly relevant because they will act in affinity with the skin, without suffocating it.
