Using the Konjac sponge
At Akane, we adopt an eco-responsible approach. We are convinced that nature has the best elements for our skin. We have therefore chosen the organic konjac sponge as the flagship accessory for facial cleansing. The Konjac sponge is only made of Konjac, and possibly clay. There are no other ingredients in this product with proven efficacy.
To get the most out of its benefits on a daily basis, use the Konjac organic sponge in the morning to cleanse your skin. In the evening, it is ideal for completing make-up removal, alone or with a cleansing product. The Konjac sponge is dry and must be softened in contact with water before use. Its contact is then particularly pleasant: the plant fibres that make it up swell on contact with water. Once soaked, the konjac sponge becomes soft in contact with the skin. Simply massage the face with circular movements to better rid the skin of impurities. Start with the areas most prone to clogging, then proceed to the other parts of the face.
Depending on the desired effect, you can vary the temperature of the water applied to the konjac sponge. Cold water tightens the pores for a toning effect, while water dilates them for better penetration of the active ingredients.
Thanks to the action of the Konjac sponge, your skin will be exfoliated and your complexion unified. The skin is softer and plumped. Reusable until its natural decomposition, the organic konjac sponge is much more economical than cotton. To keep it as long as possible, it is best not to squeeze it gently and not to twist it. It must be rinsed well to dry naturally in the open air. Finally, it is recommended to clean it once a week, immersing it in boiling water to eliminate all microbes.
