Our recipes for homemade facial scrubs

17/05/2021

No matter how much we cleanse our face every day with a Konjac sponge and the right care, blackheads, visible pores and a dull comple xion are still there. To restore radiance to your complexion and achieve flawless skin, Aline Foulet, founder of the Akane company, reveals her recipes for home made scrubs. In favour of cosmetics that are inseparable from the notion of pleasure, her recipes are in line with the brand's image: delicious, natural and effective... The perfect skin is yours!

WHY EXFOLIATE THE SKIN FROM HIS FACE?

To deeply unclog pores, eliminate impurities and say goodbye to the small dead skins accumulated on the surface of the epidermis, there's nothing like a weekly scrub to make new skin. Although skin cells renew themselves every four to six weeks, fine particles, fatigue, stress, free radicals and skin aging can disrupt this cycle and slow it down. The result is an accumulation of scales on the skin that are invisible to the naked eye, but which dull the complexion and literally suffocate the epidermis.

Exfoliating the facial skin with a gentle scrub will remove this layer of dead cells and help the skin to breathe. The products then applied will then be better assimilated and will therefore act much more effectively. Finally, the mechanical action of the fingers on the face stimulates blood circulation and boosts cell renewal. Result: the skin texture is refined and the complexion glowing!

SCRUB FOR DEHYDRATED SKIN :

Our recipes for homemade facial scrubs

Discover the anti-thirst cocoon mask

Sensitive skin is known as "intolerant" skin. This results in hyper reactivity, due to factors of various origins: UV rays, temperature variations, stress, strong emotions, overly spicy food, use of cosmetics that are aggressive to the epidermis... the skin can then tingle, heat, itch, present small red patches. However, sensitive skin also needs to be exfoliated... but very gently!

Recipe for Aline Foulet's homemade facial scrub for sensitive skin:

- Take a teaspoon of the anti-thirst cocoon mask and pour it into a container previously cleaned with alcohol;

- Add a teaspoon of white powdered sugar and mix;

- Apply immediately to wet face and then make circular movements on the skin; finally, rinse with lukewarm water.

EXFOLIATION FOR DRY SKIN :

DISCOVER THE HONEY ORANGE MASK

Skin is considered dry when it feels tight and lacks radiance and suppleness. Lacking water and fat, it lets the first signs of aging appear prematurely, such as wrinkles and fine lines. It produces an almost non-existent hydrolipidic film, and is therefore particularly sensitive to external aggressions, such as heat, cold, pollution, UV rays... To defend itself, it will become thicker and dull. Exfoliating dry skin stimulates the sebaceous glands and thus leads to the production of sebum, in other words a lipidic film that protects the skin from drying out.

Recipe for Aline Foulet's homemade facial scrub for dry skin:

- Take a teaspoon of Akane Orange Honey Mask (enriched with organic honey, carrot macerate and organic apricot kernel oil, it nourishes and softens dry to very dry skin) and pour it into a container previously cleaned with alcohol ;

- Add a teaspoon of brown sugar powder and mix;

- Apply immediately to wet face and then make circular movements on the skin;

- Finally, rinse with lukewarm water.

SCRUB FOR OILY SKIN :

DISCOVER THE MOISTURIZING JELLY

Oily skin has visible pores, shiny areas, an uneven complexion and provides a breeding ground for unsightly pimples. This type of skin is a sign of a physiological imbalance: the sebaceous glands located in the dermis naturally secrete too much sebum. Many external factors can accentuate this hyperseborrhea, such as a too rich diet, stress, heat... In order to refine the skin texture, to dislodge blackheads and to display a clean and regular complexion, one or two scrubs per week are necessary. Beware, do not strip the epidermis, but exfoliate it gently and moisturize it!

Recipe of Aline Foulet's homemade facial scrub for oily skin :

- Take a teaspoon oforganic aloe vera gel that you find in our Akane moisturizing infusion jelly (enriched with muscat rose oil, pure organic aloe vera juice and vegetable betaine, it refreshes, moisturizes and soothes the skin) and pour it into a container previously cleaned with alcohol;

add a teaspoon of oat flakes and mix;

- Apply immediately to wet face and then make circular movements on the skin;

- Finally, rinse with lukewarm water.
